Joeli Lutumailagi
Joeli Lutumailagi Kata (born 31 October 1985) is a Fiji rugby union player. He plays for the Fiji sevens team. He currently plays for French club Vannes. Early life and career Lutumailagi is from the village of Narata in the Nadroga. He is from a family of four where he is the only boy. He started his career playing in the local 7's competition. His impressive performance saw him getting drafted into the Nadroga 15's team for the Digicel Cup playing wing and then into National team He played for the Fiji Barbarians team for the 2008 Pacific Rugby Cup. In February 2010, he was called up to the Fiji 7's team for the 2011 USA Sevens replacing winger, Waisale Beci. The team lost in the final to South Africa. Sigatoka
Sigatoka ( ) is a town in Fiji. It is on the island of Viti Levu at the mouth of the Sigatoka River, for which it is named, some 61 kilometres from Nadi. Its population at the 2017 census was 17,622. It is the principal urban centre for the province of Nadroga-Navosa. An ornate temple, open to public and built by Hare Krishna devotees, dominates the Sigatoka skyline. 2011–12 IRB Sevens World Series
The 2011–12 IRB Sevens World Series, known for sponsorship reasons as the HSBC Sevens World Series, was the 13th annual series of the IRB Sevens World Series tournaments for full national sides run by the International Rugby Board since 1999–2000. Sevens is traditionally played in a two-day tournament format. However, the most famous event, the Hong Kong Sevens, was played over three days, largely because it involves 24 teams instead of the normal 16. Seabelo Senatla
Seabelo Mohanoe Senatla (born 10 February 1993) is a South African rugby union player for the South African Sevens Side. He also plays for in Super Rugby and in the Currie Cup. His regular position is winger. Senatla was a member of the South Africa Sevens team that won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Career Youth Senatla was born in Welkom, South Africa. Playing schoolboy rugby for Riebeeckstad High School in Welkom, Senatla earned selection in the side that played at the Under-16 Grant Khomo Week tournament in 2009, as well as the Under-18 Academy Week tournament in 2010. Gareth Baber
Gareth Baber (born 23 May 1972) is a Welsh former rugby player and now a rugby union coach. He is best known for coaching and leading the Fiji sevens team to win their second gold medal in rugby sevens at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He coached Fiji to their fourth World Sevens Series title. He has won the most tournaments in the world series as coach for the Fiji Islands. During his playing career Baber earned a Blue for Oxford University's rugby team. He also featured at scrum-half for Pontypridd RFC, and featured prominently in Pontypridd's European Shield victory over London Irish in 2001 where he appeared on the wing. Coaching Baber was assistant coach with the Wales national under-20 team. Baber was also academy skills coach at Welsh regional side Cardiff Blues. Ben Ryan (rugby Union)
Ben Ryan (born 11 September 1971) is an English sports coach who is best known for coaching the Fiji sevens team to a gold medal in sevens rugby at the 2016 Rio Olympics. He is currently Director of Elite Performance at association football club Brentford. As Fiji's sevens coach from 2013 to 2016, he guided the team to their first ever Dubai 7's title, and set the record of tournament titles won by a Fiji Sevens coach with nine. He coached Fiji to win the inaugural rugby sevens competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics. The 2012–13 Rugby Pro D2 is the second-level French rugby union club competition, behind the Top 14, for the 2012–13 season. It ran alongside the 2012–13 Top 14 competition; both competitions are operated by the Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR). Pro D2
Rugby Pro D2, also known as Pro D2 is the second tier of rugby union club competition division in France. It is operated by Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) which also runs the division directly above, the first division Top 14. Rugby Pro D2 was introduced in 2000. It is the world's best supported second tier rugby union league. Season structure There is relegation and promotion between both the Top 14 and Fédérale 1, the third-level competition. The top club at the end of the season is automatically promoted to the Top 14; through the 2016–17 season, the 2nd through 5th place teams play each other for the second promotion place.
