Joel Stave
Joel Stave (born May 16, 1992) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Wisconsin. High school career Joel Stave attended Whitnall High School in Greenfield, Wisconsin, where he was a three-year letter winner in football and track and field and two in basketball. As a junior, Stave passed for 4,459 yards and 39 touchdowns and ran for an additional five touchdowns. He was honorable mention all-state by the WFCA, first-team all-region, all-suburban, all-conference, and second-team all-area as a junior. As a senior, Stave threw for 3,635 yards and 47 touchdowns and ran for an additional 2,346 yards and seven touchdowns. 2012 Big Ten Football Championship Game
The 2012 Big Ten Football Championship Game was a college football game. It was played on December 1, 2012, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, to determine the 2012 champion of the Big Ten Conference. It was played between the Wisconsin Badgers of the Leaders Division and the Nebraska Cornhuskers of the Legends Division. Wisconsin defeated Nebraska, 70–31. The game was the second football championship game ever played in the Big Ten's 116-year history; the Big Ten expanded to twelve teams the year before thus becoming eligible under NCAA rules which, at that time, required conferences to have a membership of at least 12 to have a conference championship game. Jim Sorgi
James Joseph Sorgi Jr. (born December 3, 1980) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at the University of Wisconsin and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. Sorgi served as the backup to Peyton Manning for several years, and won a ring when the Colts won Super Bowl XLI against the Chicago Bears. Once he was released by the Colts, he signed with the New York Giants to compete for the backup job to Eli Manning, but got hurt in a preseason game, and he was released the following offseason after spending the year on IR. The UTEP Miners football program represents University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in the sport of American football.
