Joel Hunt
Oliver Joel "Lil' Joel" Hunt (October 11, 1905 – July 24, 1978) was American football and baseball player and coach of football. He played college football at Texas A&M University from 1925 to 1927 and served as the head football coach at the University of Georgia in 1938 and the University of Wyoming in 1939. Hunt also played professional baseball in the minor league baseball, minor leagues and briefly with the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1967. College football playing career Hunt played for Texas A&M from 1925 to 1927. A field goal (FG) is a means of scoring in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. Placekicker, or simply kicker (PK or K), is the player in gridiron football who is responsible for the kicking duties of field goals and extra points. A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. This generally happens on a fourth down in American football and a third down in Canadian football. Punters may also occasionally take part in fake punts in those same situations, when they throw or run the football instead of punting.
