Joel Allwright
Joel Allwright (born 4 March 1988) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a full-back or winger for Campbelltown City in the National Premier Leagues. Allwright was born in Adelaide and played youth football for South Australian and Australian Institutes of Sport as well as Adelaide United. He started his senior career with Para Hills Knights, where he had played junior football, in the South Australian Super League, before moving to Adelaide City in 2012. In 2017, he joined Newcastle Jets. Allwright appeared for the Australian under-17 side in 2005, including at the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship. Playing career Club In 2007, Allwright travelled to Scotland for a trial with Dundee United. Allwright signed with Newcastle Jets from Adelaide City in January 2017 on a mature-aged rookie contract until the end of the 2016–17 season. 2005 OFC U-17 Championship
The 2005 OFC Under-17 Tournament was an association football competition in Oceania. It was the 11th edition of the OFC Under 17 Qualifying Tournament, Nine teams participated in the tournament. The winning side qualified for the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Peru. Australia won their tenth (and fourth consecutive) title after beating Vanuatu 1–0 in the final. This also marked Australia's final participation (and championship) in an OFC U-17 men's event as they would become members of the AFC starting the next year (2006). Qualification All member teams qualified automatically. New Zealand withdrew before the tournament began on March 3, citing financial reasons. Samoa and American Samoa also withdrew. OFC U-17 Championship
The OFC U-16 Championship is a biennial football tournament for players under the age of 16. The tournament decides the only two qualification spots for the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) and its representatives at the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which is held every two years. Between 1983 and 2017, the tournament was open to teams under-17 years of age and was called the OFC U-17 Championship. Since 2018, the age limit was reduced to under 16 years of age, the tournament is called the OFC U-16 Championship. The Football South Australia Federation Cup, commonly known as the Federation Cup, is a knockout cup competition in Australian football, run by Football South Australia. The competition's origins date to 1907 when a club competition with six teams (Cambridge, North Adelaide, Norwood, Port Adelaide, South Adelaide, and West Adelaide) was established under the auspices of the British Association. In that first year, Cambridge defeated Hindmarsh in the final. Since 2014 the Federation Cup has been incorporated as one of the qualification tournaments to determine participants in the national FFA Cup, now known as the Australia Cup. The 2017 National Premier Leagues was the fifth season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. The league competition was played amongst eight separate divisions, divided by FFA state and territory member federations. Central Coast Mariners Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It competes in the A-League Men, under licence from the Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The Mariners were founded in 2004 and are one of the eight original A-League teams. It is the first professional sports club from the Gosford region to compete in a national competition.
