Joe Solecki
Joseph Anthony Solecki (born August 27, 1993) is an American professional mixed martial artist. Solecki currently competes in the Lightweight division for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Background Solecki began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 6. Joe states: “I got into BJJ at age 6 by accident, I wanted to do karate like the power rangers. My parents sent my brother for a year or two at first, but we ended up enrolling in a school where the instructor had begun training BJJ and he switched the entire curriculum to grappling by the time I signed up”. Benoît Saint-Denis (born 18 December 1995), is a French professional mixed martial artist who competes in the lightweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is the first French fighter having competed and won on a UFC card on the French soil. Early life Benoît Saint-Denis was born in Nîmes, on December 18, 1995. His father was a French Army officer practising judo at a good level, and his mother was a teacher. Saint-Denis practised judo in France and Germany from the age of 8 to 16 and earned a black belt. He also played football and rugby union in his youth. Prior to his MMA career, Saint-Denis was a member of the 1st Marine Infantry Paratroopers Regiment, a unit of the French Army Special Forces Command.
