Joe Simpson (rugby Union, Born 1988)
Joe Simpson (born 5 July 1988) is a rugby union player who plays scrum half who plays for Sale Sharks in the Premiership Rugby. He most recently played for Gloucester, between 2006 and 2019 he played 230 times for Wasps, in 2011 he played one international for and was named in the 2011 Rugby World Cup squad. He has also represented Team GB in rugby sevens. Early life Simpson was born in Australia to a New Zealand mother and English father, both rugby enthusiasts. He has one younger brother called Michael. Simpson was educated at St Benedict's School, Ealing, which he represented at both rugby and cricket and where he was honoured as Victor Ludorum for athletics three times, at junior, middle and senior school levels. Dominic Waldouck
Dominic Waldouck (born 26 September 1987) is an English rugby union coach and former player. His playing position was centre. Early life and education Waldouck grew up in Shepherd's Bush, London. He attended Kew College Primary School. He then studied at Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, London, gaining A grades in three A levels – Philosophy, English and History of Art. In 2015 he gained a BA in politics, philosophy and economics at the Open University. In 2019 he gained a Masters at Oxford University (see below). As well as his rugby talent, Waldouck was also a member of the Fulham Soccer Academy and played cricket for South-East England U16s. IRB Sevens World Series
The World Rugby Men's Sevens Series is an annual series of international rugby sevens tournaments run by World Rugby featuring national sevens teams. Organised for the first time in the 1999–2000 season as the IRB World Sevens Series, the competition was formed to promote an elite-level of international rugby sevens and develop the game into a viable commercial product. The competition has been sponsored by banking group HSBC since 2014. The season's circuit consists of 10 tournaments that generally begin in November or December and last until May. Ivan Van Zyl
Ivan van Zyl (born 30 June 1995) is a South African rugby union player for Saracens. His regular position is scrum-half. Career Youth Van Zyl represented the Blue Bulls as early as primary school level, appearing at the Under-13 Craven Week competition in 2008. In July 2013, he also played for them at the premier South African high school rugby competition, the Under-18 Craven Week held in Polokwane. He made three appearances and scored two tries in a personal haul of 25 points. Dai Young
David "Dai" Young (born 26 July 1967) is a Welsh rugby union coach and former rugby union and rugby league footballer. He was recently Director of Rugby at Premiership Rugby club Wasps but departed the club after initially stepping down from first team coaching in February 2020. He is now Director of Rugby at Cardiff Rugby. A prop, he won 51 caps for Wales in rugby union between 1987 and 2002, three caps for the British & Irish Lions, and 14 caps for Wales in rugby league. In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Players are not restricted to a single position, although they generally specialise in just one or two that suit their skills and body types. George Robson (born 4 November 1985) is a retired English rugby union player. His position was Lock. He holds the record as Harlequins most capped lock in the professional era with 203 appearances for the club. Career Robson was a student at Bromsgrove School and Old Swinford Hospital and played for England at both Under 16 and Under 18 level and made his first appearance for Quins in the Zurich A League during 2005. He spent a month at the Sharks Academy at Durban during the summer of 2005 before going on to make his 1XV debut for Harlequins on 18 February 2006, when he came off the bench in the 52–12 win against Coventry at the Stoop. Headbutt
A headbutt is a targeted strike with the head, typically (when intentional) involving the use of robust parts of the headbutter's cranium as the area of impact. The most effective headbutts strike the most sensitive areas of an opponent, such as the nose, using the stronger bones in the forehead (frontal bone) or the back of the skull (occipital or parietal bone).
