Joe Ross (baseball)
Joseph Andrew Ross (born May 21, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Francisco Giants organization. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Washington Nationals. The San Diego Padres selected Ross in the first round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft (25th overall). In 2015 Ross made his major league debut. The Washington Nationals are an American professional baseball team based in Washington, D.C.. They compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member of the National League (NL) East division. Trea Vance Turner (born June 30, 1993) is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). In Major League Baseball, a player to be named later (PTBNL) is an unnamed player involved in exchange or "trade" of players between teams. The terms of a trade are not finalized until a later date, most often following the conclusion of the season. Postponing a trade's final conditions or terms is often done for several reasons. First, the team receiving the PTBNL might not be certain which position they want to fill, so this type of deal gives them more time to figure it out. Second, this type of arrangement gives the team receiving the PTBNL more time to evaluate the available talent on the other team. The Lake Elsinore Storm are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The Midwest League is a Minor League Baseball league established in 1947 and based in the Midwestern United States.
