Joe Riding
Joe Riding (born August 8, 1962) is an American politician. A Democrat, he served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2013 to 2015. Early life and political career Riding was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on August 8, 1962. He was raised in Altoona, Iowa, and graduated from Southeast Polk High School before earning a degree from Upper Iowa University. Riding and his wife Leann own the Terrace Hills Golf Course. He won the Iowa House of Representatives, District 30 seat in 2012, facing Republican candidate Jim Carley. David Jacoby (politician)
David Jacoby (born 1956) is the Iowa State Representative from the 86th District. A Democrat, he has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2003, when he was elected in a special election following the resignation of Dick Myers. Jacoby currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Appropriations committee; the Human Resources committee; the State Government committee; and the Commerce committee, where he is chair. The Secretary of State of Iowa is the commissioner of elections of the U.S. state of Iowa. A constitutional officer, the officeholder is elected every four years. The Office of the Secretary of State is divided into four divisions: Elections and Voter Registration, Business Services, Administrative Services, and Communications and Publications.
