Joe Powell (footballer, Born 1998)
Joe James Powell (born 30 October 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for League One club Burton Albion. Career Powell was raised in Canning Town and joined West Ham United at the age of eight. He signed his first professional contract with the club in January 2015, and signed a renewed three-year deal in May 2016. On 26 September 2018, Powell made his first team debut in an 8–0 victory in the EFL Cup against Macclesfield Town at the London Stadium, in which fellow debutants Conor Coventry and Grady Diangana also featured. In January 2019, Powell joined Northampton Town on loan until the end of the 2018–19 season. After returning from loan with Northampton, in May 2019, Powell signed a one-year extension to his contract. Canning Town is a district in the London Borough of Newham, East London. The district is located to the north of the Royal Victoria Dock, and has been described as the "Child of the Victoria Docks" as the timing and nature of its urbanisation was largely due to the creation of the dock. EFL League Two
The English Football League Two (often referred to as League Two for short or Sky Bet League Two for sponsorship purposes, and known as the Football League Two from 2004 until 2016) is the third and lowest division of the English Football League (EFL) and fourth-highest division overall in the English football league system. Football League Two was introduced for the 2004–05 season. It was previously known as the Football League Third Division. Before the advent of the Premier League in 1992, the fourth-highest division was known as the Football League Fourth Division.
