Joe Pera
Joseph Pera (born ) is an American comedian, writer and actor. He is best known as the creator and star of Adult Swim's ''Joe Pera Talks with You'', which entered development following the success of the 2016 specials ''Joe Pera Talks You to Sleep'', and ran for three seasons. Early life Joe Pera was born in Buffalo, New York and raised in the suburb of Amherst, New York, Amherst. His parents, David and Catherine Pera, own a scaffolding company. Pera's paternal grandparents, Joseph L. Pera and Josephine Pera (née Rizzo), were a retired firefighter and homemaker, respectively. Pera would later feature his grandmother in his comedy videos. The 2021 Buffalo mayoral election was held on November 2, 2021. Democratic Mayor Byron Brown won his fifth-term in office as a write-in candidate. Brown's victory marked the first time since 1985 that Buffalo did not elect the Democratic nominee for mayor. Four-time incumbent Democratic Mayor Byron Brown lost the June Democratic primary to India Walton, a political activist and nurse.
