Joe Palmisano
Joe Palmisano (born c. 1954) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Malone University, Malone College from 1993 to 1994, compiling a record of 9–9–1. Playing career Palmisano played college football at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa from 1972 until 1975, and graduated with a B.A. in 1976. Coaching career Malone College Palmisano was the first head football coach for the Malone Pioneers located in Canton, Ohio and he held that position for two seasons, from 1993 until 1994. His career coaching record at Malone was 9–9–1. This ranks him fifth at Malone in total wins and third at Malone in winning percentage. The Iowa State Cyclones football program is the intercollegiate football team at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. The team is coached by Matt Campbell. WHBC is an AM broadcasting, AM radio station in Canton, Ohio operating on 1480 kHz and featuring a mixed news/talk and sports talk format supplemented with sports play-by-play. American Indoor Football League
American Indoor Football (AIF) was a professional indoor football league, one of the several regional professional indoor football leagues in North America. The AIFL began as a regional league with six franchises on the East Coast of the United States in 2005. After a rapid, and largely failed, expansion effort in 2006, most of the league's remaining teams jumped to the new AIFA (the rest joined the short-lived WIFL). The AIFA expanded throughout existing territory and, in 2008, expanded into the Western United States. The league legally divided into two entities to allow for a partial merger with the Southern Indoor Football League, which resulted in all of its Eastern teams merging into the SIFL and the AIFA only maintaining its western teams. Canton Legends
The Canton Legends was a professional indoor football team based out of Canton, Ohio. They were a charter member of the American Indoor Football Association, which played their first season under the name Atlantic Indoor Football League, and their second season as the American Indoor Football League. They played their home games at Canton Memorial Civic Center. The team name is in reference to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, since Canton is where the building is located. During their inaugural season, the Legends ended up at a mediocre 3–7, just beating the Raleigh Rebels for 4th Place in the league. Since the league only had six teams, everyone (including the Legends) made the playoffs.
