Joe O'Donnell (born 4 September 1948, Limerick) is best known for his fiery and innovative playing in East of Eden, Headstone, Mushroom, The Woods Band, Decca's Granny's Intentions, and his acclaimed 1977 violin led concept album, ''Gaodhal's Vision'' with Rory Gallagher His work also included John Dentith ka Theodor Thunderfrom the Alan Price Band, David Lennox (The Equals, Ginger Baker, Blodwyn Pig) and Steve Bolton. O'Donnell currently plays out his powerful five piece Celtic/rock band 'Joe O'Donnell's Shkayla' whose most recent studio album, 'Celtic Cargo' has collected rave reviews from top magazines like fRoots, FiddleOn and Rock'n'Reel. Si Hayden
Si Hayden is an English musician-composer and long time guitarist of 70's electric violin veteran Joe O'Donnell of East Of Eden, Headstone and Rory Gallagher fame. He has released over 50 albums of largely original material, featured on multiple guitar compilations with the likes of Alex De Grassi, Guns N' Roses guitarist Bumblefoot and Will Ackerman. He has recorded as a guest musician on over 100 releases. On the release of his 2011 solo guitar album ''Supercharger'', Guitarist Magazine described him as 'an acoustic virtuoso'. Career Hayden has performed and recorded with artists such as John Etheridge, Gilad Atzmon as guitarist in the 'Atzmob', Clive Carroll and Soweto Kinch. Ginger Baker
Peter Edward "Ginger" Baker (19 August 1939 – 6 October 2019) was an English drummer. His work in the 1960s and 1970s earned him the reputation of "rock's first superstar drummer", for a style that melded jazz and Music of Africa, African rhythms and pioneered both jazz fusion and world music. Baker gained early fame as a member of Blues Incorporated and the Graham Bond Organisation, both times alongside bassist Jack Bruce, with whom Baker would often clash. In 1966, Baker and Bruce joined guitarist Eric Clapton to form Cream (band), Cream, which achieved worldwide success but lasted only until 1968, in part due to Baker's and Bruce's volatile relationship. After working with Clapton in the short-lived band Blind Faith and leading Ginger Baker's Air Force, Baker spent several years in the 1970s living and recording in Africa, often with Fela Kuti, in pursuit of his long-time interest in African music. The Woods Band
The Woods Band was an Irish folk-rock band formed in 1970 by husband and wife team Gay & Terry Woods, shortly after their departure from Steeleye Span. The band played and recorded for four years before evolving into Gay & Terry Woods. In 2001, Terry Woods formed a new band and named it The Woods Band, which performed and recorded through 2003. Decca Records is a British record label established in 1929 by Edward Lewis (Decca), Edward Lewis.
