2021 America East Conference Baseball Tournament
The 2021 America East Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 27 to May 30, 2021. The top four teams out of the league's eight members met in the double-elimination tournament held at Joe Nathan Field in Stony Brook, New York. The tournament champion, New Jersey Institute of Technology, received the conference's automatic bid into the 2021 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. Bracket Conference championship There was no championship game held in 2021. Per conference policy, NJIT received the league's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the lone unbeaten team in the championship after the remainder of the 2021 America East Conference Championship was unable to be completed due to inclement weather. Nicholas Paul Tropeano (born August 27, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Acereros de Monclova of the Mexican League. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros, Los Angeles Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, and New York Mets. Tropeano played college baseball for the Stony Brook Seawolves, and was drafted in the fifth round of the 2011 MLB draft by the Astros. Stony Brook Seawolves Baseball
The Stony Brook Seawolves baseball team represents Stony Brook University in NCAA Division I men's college baseball. Stony Brook currently competes in the CAA and plays its home games on Joe Nathan Field. Matt Senk has coached the team since the beginning of the 1991 season. The team has won the America East tournament six times in 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, and 2019. In 2011, the Seawolves claimed their first America East regular season championship. Stony Brook has participated in the NCAA tournament on six separate occasions, winning its first game in 2010.
