Joseph Miller (September 9, 1819 – May 27, 1862) was an American lawyer and politician who served as a U.S. Representative from Ohio for one term from 1857 to 1859. Biography Born in Virginia, Miller attended the common schools. He moved to Ohio and settled in Chillicothe. Joe Miller or JOEE (born 29 July 1987 in Rotherham, England) is a British commentator. He started his career as an esports caster at gaming tournaments, working his first event shoutcasting Battlefield 1942 (short: BF1942). The 3D World War II first-person shooter (FPS) video game was coincidentally also the first game Miller played at a competitive level. At age sixteen, he began to commentate BF1942 games at home in the UK, pushing out as many audio commentaries as he could. In an interview with JP McDaniel (host of Real Talk on YouTube), Miller revealed that it was a "big jump" from the audio commentaries he initially produced to the audio-video commentaries we are accustomed to today. Miller's big break came when he joined TsN, through which he cast the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) World Tour in 2005, arguably the "most definitive moment" of his early esports career. Josef Miller (April 22, 1890 – November 24, 1985) was a German Jesuit theologian and superior who worked mainly in Austria. Life and work Josef Miller was born in Lengmoos (Lower Bavaria); his parents were practicing Catholics and ran a bakery. For his grammar school studies he attended Scheyern Abbey; later he attended another Catholic school in Freising. In 1908, at the age of 18, before finishing school, he decided to enter the Jesuit Order. The order was still forbidden in Germany as a result of the Kulturkampf, so he entered the Austrian Jesuit Province instead. The novitiate (1908-1910) took place in St. Andrä in the Lavanttal; after that he finished his schooling (1910-1912) and graduated from Kalksburg College in Vienna. He studied philosophy in Innsbruck from 1912 to 1915. After that he worked as a prefect in the Kalksburg College (1915-1917). Four more years of theology studies followed in Innsbruck (1917-1921). Sir Joseph Holmes Miller (12 February 1919 – 6 February 1986) was a notable New Zealand surveyor, Antarctic explorer and conservationist. He was born in Waimate, New Zealand, on 12 February 1919. In May 1958, Miller was awarded the Polar Medal, and a month later in the 1958 Queen's Birthday Honours, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, in recognition of his role as deputy leader of the New Zealand Trans-Antarctic Expedition. Joseph Miller (1684 – 15 August 1738) was an English actor, who first appeared in the cast of Sir Robert Howard's ''Committee'' at Drury Lane in 1709 as Teague. Trinculo in '' The Tempest'', the First Grave-digger in ''Hamlet'' and Marplot in Susanna Centlivre's ''The Busybody'', were among his many favourite parts. He is said to have been a friend of Hogarth. In 1715 he appeared on bills promoting a performance on the last day of April, where he played Young Clincher in Farquhar's comedy, ''The Constant Couple''. On 25 April 1717 he played Sir Joseph Whittol in William Congreve's "Old Batchelor". Tickets for this performance were adorned by a design by William Hogarth showing the scene where Whittol's friend Captain Bluffe is kicked by Sharper whilst his friend Bellmour tries to pull him away. Reverend Joseph Miller BD (born 1874) was a Congregational minister, much in demand as an "eloquent preacher" for 14 years in the north of England. While in Hamburg during his ministry he "rendered valuable assistance to his countrymen in distress" following a call from the American Embassy there. However, in 1929 he "created a sensation" by becoming an Anglican priest. His first Anglican incumbency was as vicar of the Church of St Mark, Old Leeds Road, Huddersfield, England, from 1929 to 1931. Life His father was Saul Miller (1841–1902) who was born in Leesrigg, Cumbria and died in Wigton. He was a farmer of 273 acres, employing five men and one woman. His mother was Betty "Jane" Timperon (1846–1895), born in Keswick. They were married at Wigton in 1870. Joseph was born in Leesrigg or Allhallows, Cumbria, the second of five children, in 1874.
