Joe McGuire
Joseph Blair McGuire, (born June 20, 1944) is a Canadian retired politician. A native of in Morell, Prince Edward Island, he served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the riding of Egmont from 1988 to 2008. A member of the Liberal Party of Canada, was first elected to the House of Commons in 1988 and reelected in 1993, 1997, 2000, 2004 and 2006. From 2003 to 2006, he was Minister for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Paul Martin. Before entering public life, McGuire worked as a teacher in Prince Edward Island and a vice-principal at an elementary school in Ontario. He was also a community development worker having been employed with the PEI Rural Development Council and the Community Employment Strategy. Joe Ghiz
Joseph Atallah Ghiz (January 27, 1945 – November 9, 1996) was the 27th premier of Prince Edward Island from 1986 to 1993, an educator of law and a justice of the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island. He was the father of Robert Ghiz, the 31st premier of Prince Edward Island. He was the first premier of a Canadian province to be of non-European descent, since followed by Ujjal Dosanjh and Ghiz's son, Robert. Peter MacKay
Peter Gordon MacKay (born September 27, 1965) is a Canadian lawyer and politician. He was a Member of Parliament from 1997 to 2015 and has served as Minister of Justice and Attorney General (2013–2015), Minister of National Defence (2007–2013), and Minister of Foreign Affairs (2006–2007) in the Cabinet of Canada under Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Allan Rock
Allan Michael Rock (born August 30, 1947) is a Canadian lawyer, former politician, diplomat and university administrator. He was Canada's ambassador to the United Nations (2004–2006) and had previously served in the Cabinet of Jean Chrétien, most notably as Justice Minister (1993–1997) and Health Minister (1997–2002). Rock was appointed as president and vice-chancellor of the University of Ottawa by its board of governors on June 3, 2008. His term began on July 15, 2008, and it ended on July 1, 2016. Rock was subsequently designed president emeritus.
