Joe Koziol
Joe Koziol (born March 26, 1967) is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in the American Professional Soccer League, Major Indoor Soccer League and the National Professional Soccer League. He also won three indoor USISL titles with the Baltimore Bays. Youth Koziol, younger brother of Stan Koziol, was born in Passaic, but grew up in Clifton, New Jersey. Growing up, he played for several local youth clubs including Polish Youth Club, Wayne Sports Friends and Thistle S.C. He graduated from Clifton High School in Clifton. Koziol attended Loyola University Maryland, playing on the men’s soccer team from 1985 to 1988. He was a 1988 Third Team All American. Shenendehowa High School
Shenendehowa High School (often shortened to Shen High School) is a public high school in Clifton Park, New York, United States. It is part of the Shenendehowa Central School District. Students are separated between two buildings (East and West) by their grade levels. Both buildings are located on the district's main campus off of NY 146. The recently expanded East building houses 10th through 12th graders, while the West building houses only 9th graders. It is the largest public school district in a suburban area in New York State. History The original high school was built in the early 1950s, the building that is now Gowana and Acadia Middle Schools. Shenendehowa High School East began operation in 1970, teaching grades 9-12. The Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL) was a professional indoor soccer league that played from 1993 to 1997. History In the summer of 1989 Dr Jerry Buss, the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers and California Sports, told his executive Vice President, Ron Weinstein, he was closing the doors on the Los Angeles Lazers of the Major Indoor Soccer League, MISL, and that if he ever wanted to "create a professional indoor soccer league that played in the summer months, out from under the shadow of the NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAA Football and NCAA Basketball", he would support the endeavor. The 1994 United States Interregional Soccer League was an outdoor season run by the United States Interregional Soccer League. Regular season Schedule Each team had a 20-game schedule, with two games counting as Designated Makeup Games (DMGs). DMGs are plugged in for any game that was cancelled during the season. Scoring Teams in the Northeast and Midwest have points that reflect the addition of a 1-point corner kick bonus per game. The standings published by the USISL list only the wins, losses, goals scored, goals allowed and total points. They do not provide the number of wins or losses that came through shootouts. Baltimore Bays
The Baltimore Bays were a professional soccer team based in Baltimore, Maryland founded in 1967 as one of the ten charter members of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL). When the NPSL and the rival United Soccer Association (USA) merged in 1968 to form the North American Soccer League (NASL), the team moved to the new league. The Bays played its home matches at Memorial Stadium during its first two seasons and moved to Kirk Field, a high school football stadium, in 1969.
