Joe Harris (filmmaker)
Joe Harris is an American comic book writer and screenwriter. He made his big screen debut in 2003 with his screenplay for the Sony Pictures release '' Darkness Falls''. He is currently the writer of the ongoing monthly comic book series ''Great Pacific'' from Image Comics and ''The X-Files: Season 10'' from IDW Publishing. Career In film, Harris' screenplay for '' Darkness Falls'' was based on ''Tooth Fairy'', his short film which presented a horrific twist on the children’s bedtime myth. He wrote the politically themed slasher film ''The Tripper'' which featured David Arquette as writer and director. In comics, Harris has written for many major publishers, writing ''X-Men'', ''Spider-Man'', and ''Batman''. Harris has various creator-owned projects. Steve Rolston
Steve Rolston (born 8 February 1978) is a Canadian artist and writer of comic books and graphic novels currently living in Vancouver, British Columbia. After working in story boards for various animated series, he got his first break from Oni Press as the penciler and inker of the first four issues of their on-going ''Queen & Country'' comic series by praised author Greg Rucka. From 2005 to 2017, Rolston taught a course at Vancouver Institute of Media Arts entitled "Introduction to Comic Book Production". Millennium (2015 Comic Book)
''Millennium'' is a five-issue comic book series published by IDW Publishing from January and August 2015, based on the television series of the same name. The series was written by Joe Harris with artwork by Colin Lorimer, and featured cover art by menton3. ''Millennium'' focuses on Frank Black, a former offender profiler investigating the Millennium Group, a cult-like organisation which had sought to control the end of the world at the turn of the 3rd millennium. Black learns that the Group is still operating over a decade after their supposed defeat, and have recruited his estranged daughter to combat gathering demonic forces. The first issue, released on January 21, 2015, saw sales of over 8000 issues, though sales figures would subsequently drop. However, the series has been reviewed positively by critics, with Lorimer's artwork frequently singled out for praise. Christopher Carl Carter (born October 13, 1956) is an American television and film producer, director and writer who gained fame in the 1990s as the creator of the Fox science fiction supernatural drama series ''The X-Files''. Born in Bellflower, California, Carter graduated with a degree in journalism from California State University, Long Beach before spending thirteen years working for '' Surfing Magazine''. The New 52
The New 52 is the 2011 revamp and relaunch by DC Comics of its entire line of ongoing monthly superhero comic books. Following the conclusion of the " Flashpoint" crossover storyline, DC canceled all its existing titles and debuted 52 new series in September 2011. Among the renumbered series were ''Action Comics'' and '' Detective Comics'', which had retained their original numbering since the 1930s. The relaunch included changes to the publishing format; for example, print and digital comics began to be released on the same day.
