Joe Hamilton (producer)
Joseph Henry Hamilton Jr. (January 6, 1929 – June 9, 1991) was an American television producer and actor. Career Beginning his career as a singer and composer with a vocal group, The Skylarks, Hamilton became the producer of ''The Garry Moore Show'' in 1958, where actress Carol Burnett was a regular. With The Skylarks, he appeared on many early television programs, including Dinah Shore's. He also appeared in two 1964 episodes of ''The New Phil Silvers Show''. Joe appeared in several episodes of The Andy Griffith Show as a bystander who made fun of Deputy Barney Fife (Don knotts) for overreacting to simple situations. He worked with Burnett on the short-lived CBS variety show ''The Entertainers'' and her long-running eponymous series, ''The Carol Burnett Show'', as executive producer and composer of its theme song. Fred Allen
John Florence Sullivan (May 31, 1894 – March 17, 1956), known professionally as Fred Allen, was an American comedian. His absurdist, topically pointed radio program ''The Fred Allen Show'' (1932–1949) made him one of the most popular and forward-looking humorists in the Golden Age of American radio. His best-remembered gag was his long-running mock feud with friend and fellow comedian Jack Benny, but it was only part of his appeal; radio historian John Dunning (in ''On the Air: The Encyclopedia of Old-Time Radio'') wrote that Allen was perhaps radio's most admired comedian and most frequently censored. The Carol Burnett Show
''The Carol Burnett Show'' is an American variety/sketch comedy television show that originally ran on CBS from September 11, 1967, to March 29, 1978, for 279 episodes, and again with nine episodes in fall 1991. It starred Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, and Lyle Waggoner. In 1975, frequent guest star Tim Conway became a regular after Waggoner left the series. In 1977, Dick Van Dyke replaced Korman but it was agreed that he was not a match and he left after 10 episodes. The series originated in CBS Television City's Studio 33, and won 25 primetime Emmy Awards. In 2013, ''TV Guide'' ranked ''The Carol Burnett Show'' number 17 on its list of the 60 Greatest Shows of All Time, and in 2007 it was included on the list of ''Time''s 100 Best TV Shows of All Time. Sea Hunt
''Sea Hunt'' is an American action adventure television series that aired in syndication from 1958 to 1961 and was popular for decades afterwards. The series originally aired for four seasons, with 155 episodes produced. It stars Lloyd Bridges as former Navy diver Mike Nelson, and was produced by Ivan Tors. Development Series executive producer Ivan Tors conceived the idea for ''Sea Hunt'' while working on the 1958 film ''Underwater Warrior''. He tried in vain to sell the series to all three major networks, but each network passed on it because they felt that a series set underwater could not be sustained. Tors then decided to sell it into the first-run syndication market. He teamed up with Ziv Television Programs and was able to sell it to more than 100 syndicated markets before it debuted in January 1958. Lloyd Bridges was cast as lead character Mike Nelson.
