Joe Alvarez
José René Álvarez Ramírez (born June 11, 1956), known as Joe Alvarez, is a Cuban Americans, Cuban American baseball manager and a former utility player, utility infielder in Minor League Baseball. Listed at , , Alvarez batted and threw right handed. Alvarez spent four seasons in the minors playing mostly at shortstop for the New York Yankees, Houston Astros, and Baltimore Orioles organizations. He worked his way up to Class Double A in 1977, but did not play a game again after suffering an injury. The Batavia Muckdogs are a collegiate summer baseball team in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL). They are located in Batavia, a city in Genesee County, New York, United States. A run batted in or runs batted in (RBI) is a statistic in baseball and softball that credits a batter for making a play that allows a run to be scored (except in certain situations such as when an error is made on the play). For example, if the batter bats a base hit which allows a teammate on a higher base to reach home and so score a run, then the batter gets credited with an RBI. Charlotte Orioles
The Charlotte Knights are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. They are located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and play their home games at Truist Field, which opened in 2014 and is located in Uptown Charlotte.
