Joe Alt
Joe Alt (born February 28, 2003) is an American football offensive tackle. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where he was two-time All-American. He is the son of former Kansas City Chiefs player John Alt and younger brother of ice hockey player Mark Alt. Career Alt attended the Totino-Grace High School in Fridley, Minnesota. He played offensive tackle and tight end. He committed to the University of Notre Dame to play college football. As a true freshman at Notre Dame in 2021, Alt played offensive tackle and tight end. He played in all 13 games and started the final 13 games at left tackle. In 2023, he was a finalist for the Outland Trophy, which is awarded to the nation's best OL/Interior DL. He was unanimously named to the 2023 College Football All-America Team and declared for the 2024 NFL Draft following the season. Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league's American Football Conference (AFC) West division. The ''South Bend Tribune'' is a daily newspaper and news website which is based in South Bend, Indiana. It is distributed in South Bend, Mishawaka, north central Indiana, and southwestern Michigan. It has been named as a "Blue Ribbon Newspaper" (2006, 2016 and 2018) by the Hoosier State Press Association. It is the third largest daily broadsheet newspaper in the state of Indiana by circulation. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Mark Alt (born October 18, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who is currently under contract with Straubing Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career Alt was a two sport star at Cretin-Derham Hall High School in Minnesota. Having begun playing hockey at the age of 5, Alt was later part of the team that qualified for the 2009 Minnesota high school hockey tournament.
