Jodie Ferneyhough
Jodie Ferneyhough is the president and founder of CCS Rights Management and Daytripper Music Publishing. He was Creative Director for Universal Music Publishing Canada for almost a decade until leaving the company in 2011. Ferneyhough joined UMPG-Canada in June 2001 as creative director and worked his way up to managing director. He was instrumental in the careers of Canadian artists k-os, Sam Roberts and Hedley. He also worked with established international acts Jann Arden, Shania Twain, and Avril Lavigne. Before joining Universal he was music publisher peermusic's creative director, and before that he worked in management, booking and as a festival and trade show coordinator. Osgoode Hall Law School, commonly shortened to Osgoode, is the law school of York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Kevin Brereton (born February 20, 1972), better known by his stage name k-os (; "chaos"), is a Canadian alternative rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. His given name may also be cited as Kheaven, a spelling he later adopted. The alias "k-os", spelled with a lower case "k", was intended to be less aggressive than the pseudonyms of other rappers whose names were all upper case, such as KRS-One. Peermusic is a United States-based independent music publisher. History Ralph Peer, a field recording engineer and A&R representative for Victor Records, went on a scouting trip to Bristol, Tennessee. For two weeks, he recorded artists such as Jimmie Rodgers and The Carter Family in what later became famous as the Bristol sessions. With the success of these recordings, Peer incorporated Southern Music Publishing Co., Inc., on January 31, 1928, which changed its name in 1994 to Peermusic.
