Joaquín García (footballer, Born 1875)
Joaquín García Cenarro (1875 – Unknown) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for FC Barcelona and Club Español (now known as RCD Espanyol). Although little has been recorded of his life, he was one of the most prominent footballers in the Copa Macaya, the first football championship played on the Iberian Peninsula, winning the competition with both Barça ( 1901–02) and Espanyol (1902–03). Biography García was introduced to football during his time as a student in England. He began to practice football in Plymouth during this period. At the age of 26, García returned to Spain and settled in Barcelona, where he decided to continue his love of football and joined the city's main club, FC Barcelona, in 1901. Luis De Ossó
Luis de Ossó Serra (17 October 1876 - 1 February 1931) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for FC Barcelona. He was one of the most important footballers in the amateur beginnings of FC Barcelona, being among the 12 founders of the club in 1899, and then serving the club as a forward for six years, netting 68 goals in 72 appearances, thus contributing decisively in the conquest of Barça's first official titles, 1901–02 Copa Macaya, which was the club's first-ever official title, 1902–03 Copa Barcelona and the 1904–05 Catalan championship. The Catalan football championship ''(Campionat de Catalunya)'' was a football competition in Catalonia and the first football league in Spain before La Liga was established in 1929. Ángel Rodríguez Ruiz (13 October 1879 – 10 May 1959) was the founder and first president of the Real Club Deportivo Español. He was also a footballer for the club between 1903 and 1905. Biography Ángel Rodríguez was born in Barcelona as the son of Rafael Rodríguez Méndez (1845–1949), an Andalusian doctor and politician settled in Catalonia, who was chancellor of the University of Barcelona from 1902 to 1905, and who stood out for his positioning against the use of Catalan language in the University. In 1900, when he was studying engineering, at the age of 21, Rodríguez became fond of football after watching a match between English sailors and Català FC. Joaquim Escardó
Joaquim Escardó Salazar (2 January 1882 – 22 December 1957) was a Spanish Sports journalist and footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Club Español (now known as RCD Espanyol). As a player, he won the 1903–04 Catalan Championship, but he found greater professional success through his journalist work, being a match press reporter for newspapers such as Los Deportes, for whom he published what is now regarded as the oldest photo of a football team in Spain. René Fenouillière
René Victor Fenouillière (22 October 1882 – 4 November 1916) was a French footballer who played for Spanish clubs RCD Espanyol and FC Barcelona. He competed for France in the men's tournament at the 1908 Summer Olympics. He is best known for being the first French player to wear the FC Barcelona shirt when he played for them in 1903. He was killed in action during World War I.
