The Campeonato Uruguayo de Rugby – named "Copa Amarok" due to sponsorship reasons, is the main competition of Uruguayan rugby union league system. It includes the first, second and third division competitions. It was played for the first time in 1950. Originally planned to be hosted by India, all games were shifted to Australia following a contractual dispute over ground signage rights between the Indian Rugby Union and Rugby World Cup Limited.
