Joanne Morgan (netball)
Joanne Morgan is an Australian netball player. Morgan was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. She was Captain for the Sydney Sandpipers and Captain of NSW and also a member of the Queensland Firebirds in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy The Commonwealth Bank Trophy, also referred to as the National Netball League, was the top level national Australian netball league between 1997 and 2007. The league was organized by Netball Australia. Its main sponsor was the Commonwealth Ba ..., with a stint in the New Zealand National Bank Cup in 2004, playing for the Western Flyers. Morgan continued to play with the Firebirds with the start of the ANZ Championship in 2008. Queensland Firebirds
Queensland Firebirds are an Australian netball team based in Brisbane, Queensland. Since 2017 they have played in Suncorp Super Netball. Between 2008 and 2016, they played in the ANZ Championship and between 1997 and 2007, they played in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy. Firebirds were the most successful team during the ANZ Championship era, playing in five grand finals and winning three premierships, in 2011, 2015 and 2016. They were the only team to win back to back ANZ Championship titles. Helensvale State High School
Helensvale High School is a public secondary school located in the suburb of Helensvale on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is situated on the corner of Discovery Drive and Helensvale Road. The school first opened in 1990 with Rod Cassidy as the foundation principal. The School motto is One student, one community, many futures . Helensvale High caters for a large catchment of students, with nearly 2,600 enrolments, making it one of the largest high schools in the Gold Coast region.
