Joanna Frank (born Johanna Bochco; March 7, 1941) is an American actress. Career Her first role was in Elia Kazan's 1963 film ''America, America'' as the character "Vartuhi", and she also appeared in ''The Young Animals'' (1968) and the cult biker film '' The Savage Seven'' (1968). Her later film credits included roles in Henry Jaglom's ''Always, But Not Forever'' (1985), and the romantic comedy '' Say Anything...'' (1989). On television her first roles were as the malevolent "Regina" in '' The Outer Limits'' episode " ZZZZZ" (Season 1, Episode 18), which aired January 27, 1964. The following day, January 28, 1964, the episode "Where the Action Is" in '' The Fugitive'' in which she appeared as "Chris Polichek", aired (Season 1, Episode 18). Alan Leonard Rachins (born October 3, 1942) is an American television actor, known for his role as Douglas Brackman in '' L.A. Law'' which earned him both Golden Globe and Emmy nominations, and his portrayal of Larry (Dharma's hippie father) on the television series ''Dharma & Greg''. Career Rachins graduated from Brookline High School. He enrolled at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, ultimately dropping out, but managed to graduate from Empire State College in 1974. He moved to New York to study acting. Over the next decade, he performed in a succession of plays, including the original Broadway productions of ''After the Rain'' and Hadrian the Seventh'', as well as the original off-Broadway productions of ''The Trojan Women'' and the controversial ''Oh! ''Richie Brockelman, Private Eye'' is an American detective drama that aired on NBC for five episodes in March and April 1978, with Dennis Dugan in the starring role. ''The Rockford Files'' was used to launch the series via character crossover in a 2-hour episode at the end of the 1977-78 season. Premise The hour-long series focused on Richie Brockelman, a 22-year-old, college-educated private investigator with his own agency in Los Angeles, California. Dugan was actually thirty-one when cast in the role. Brockleman's main method in solving his cases was thinking he could talk his way in or out of any situation he was in. Usually there was a woman involved in the plot that was in some kind of distress, but in the end, he solves the case though he does not get the girl. ''Probe'' is a 1972 American made-for-television crime sci-fi thriller film produced as a pilot for a science fiction detective series, originally to have continued under that title. Created by Leslie Stevens, it starred Hugh O'Brian as Hugh Lockwood, one of a group of high-tech private eyes working for the organization "World Securities Corp." When picked up for series production, the title was changed to '' Search'', because ''Probe'' was the name of an existing PBS series. The film originally aired February 21, 1972 on NBC. The investigators, called Probes, were outfitted with various electronic implants including a button-sized "scanner" containing a miniaturized video camera, microphone and transmitter linked to a team of technicians and experts who constantly monitored the Probe's surroundings, actions and vital signs; they were able to supply the Probe with encyclopedic information on any subject. Neurosurgeon Joseph Ransohoff served as a medical consultant for the show.
