Joana Martins (born 4 October 2000) is a Portuguese professional footballer, who plays as a midfielder for Sporting CP and the Portugal national team. Club career Martins signed a professional contract with Sporting CP on 23 June 2017, at the age of 16. In the 2018–19 season, Martins played games for the youth, B and senior teams of Sporting. Towards the end of the season, however, she secured her place in the senior team and started in the final three league fixtures. On 24 June 2021, she signed a one-year contract extension with Sporting, committing herself to a sixth season with the club. Sesimbra () is a municipality of Portugal, in the Setúbal District, lying at the foothills of the ''Serra da Arrábida'', a mountain range between Setúbal and Sesimbra. ''Record'' is a Portuguese sports newspaper, founded in 1949 by Manuel Dias, published in Lisbon. Although it covers most sports, football is the focal point of it, and almost always is the only sport referred to on the cover. History and profile ''Record'' was founded by Manuel Dias. The Ukraine women's national football team represents Ukraine in international women's football. The team is administered by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The team has been playing since 30 June 1992 when it hosted a team of Moldova. Before its first official tournament, the UEFA Women's Euro 1995 qualifying phase, the Ukraine women's team played at least four more friendlies all with Belarus in 1993. Rádio Renascença, also known as 'RR' or just 'Renascença' (Renaissance in English), is a private, commercial radio station in Portugal, owned by various organizations within the Portuguese Catholic Church: among others, the Patriarchate of Lisbon. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
