Joachim Waroi (born September 20, 1988) is an association football attacker from the Solomon Islands who plays for Western United and the Solomon Islands national football team. Club career He is a Solomon Islands international. He played for Hekari United. Signed for Lae City Dwellers FC in 2016 for an anonymous fee to enhance their attacking options. He helped them qualify for the OFC Champions League for the first time. Former Hekari United forward was given a one-match ban when celebrating a goal scored against his former club in an impudent manner by taking his jersey off and covering his head with it while running around which did not conform to the guidelines. Labasa F
Labasa (pronounced ) is a town in Fiji with a population of 27,949 at the most recent census held in 2007. Labasa is located in Macuata Province, in the north-eastern part of the island of Vanua Levu, and is the largest town on the island. The town itself is located on a delta formed by three rivers – the Wailevu, the Labasa (after which the town is named), and the Qawa. The latter two are connected by an 8-kilometre canal. The township historically served the sugar cane farms and farm workers with harvesting season resulting in significant seasonal employment although the township is now less dependent on the sugar industry. The farmers market offers seasonal produce and seafood. The main street is lined with small family run businesses, supermarkets and restaurants offering a lively pedestrian thoroughfare. The Solomon Islands national football team is the national football team of the Solomon Islands, administered by the Solomon Islands Football Federation. The Solomon Islands national football team was founded in 1978. They were officially recognised by FIFA a decade later, in 1988. History During the 2004 Oceania World Cup qualification/Oceania Cup the team drew 2–2 with Australia and qualified for the second leg. Solomon Islands
Solomon Islands is an island country consisting of six major islands and over 900 smaller islands in Oceania, to the east of Papua New Guinea and north-west of Vanuatu. Lae City FC, formerly known as Lae City Dwellers FC or Toti City FC, is a professional football club founded in 2014 and based in Lae, Papua New Guinea. The side currently plays in the Papua New Guinea National Soccer League, the highest level of football competition in PNG. Alongside Hekari United, the club is one of only two sides to have won a Papua New Guinea National Soccer League. The side has also competed in four editions of the OFC Champions League, with their best result coming in the 2018 and 2019 editions, when they reached the quarter-finals.
