Jitka Landová (born 20 July 1990 in Jablonec nad Nisou) is a former Czech biathlete, AND a double Winter Universiade winner in the mass start competition. She competed at the Biathlon World Championships 2012 in Ruhpolding and at the Biathlon World Championships 2013 in Nové Město na Moravě. She competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Her best result here was 3rd place in relay, shared with her Czech teammates Eva Puskarčíková, Gabriela Soukalová and Veronika Vítková Veronika Vítková (; born on 9 December 1988) is a Czech former biathlete. Jablonec nad Nisou (; german: Gablonz an der Neiße) is a city in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 45,000 inhabitants. It is the second-largest city in the region. The women's 10 km pursuit biathlon competition of the Sochi 2014 Olympics was held at Laura Biathlon & Ski Complex on 11 February 2014. In the pursuit competition, the competitors start times were determined according to the results of the Women's sprint held two days earlier, with the sprint champion Anastasiya Kuzmina starting first. None of the sprint medalists won a medal in the pursuit. Instead, Darya Domracheva of Belarus became the champion, with Tora Berger of Norway winning the silver medal, and Teja Gregorin of Slovenian winning the bronze. Gregorin's medal became the first ever medal of Slovenia in biathlon.
