Caraș-Severin () is a county ( județ) of Romania on the border with Serbia. The majority of its territory lies within the historical region of Banat, with a few northeastern villages considered part of Transylvania. The county seat is Reșița. Ciudanovița ( hu, Csudafalva) is a commune in Caraș-Severin County, western Romania with a population of 622 people. It is composed of two villages, Ciudanovița and Jitin (''Dicsény''). The Karaš (in Serbian, also Cyrillic: Караш) or Caraș (in Romanian) is a long river in the Banat region of Vojvodina, Serbia and Romania and a left tributary of the Danube.
