Bhanwar Jitendra Singh (born 12 June 1971) is a former Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (Independent charge) and a former Minister of State for Defence, Government of India. Jitendra Singh (born 13 June 2001) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender or defensive midfielder for Jamshedpur in the Indian Super League. He has represented India in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017. Club career Born in Kolkata, Singh was part of the AIFF Elite Academy batch that was preparing for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup to be hosted in India. After the tournament, Singh was selected to play for the Indian Arrows, an All India Football Federation-owned team that would consist of India under-20 players to give them playing time.
