Jirandeh ( fa, جيرنده, ''jirandeh'') ( Tati: , ''Jirindih'') is a city and capital of Amarlu District, in Rudbar County, Gilan Province, Iran. It is located north of the Shahrood river Shahrood or Shah-Rud ( fa, شاهرود, Shāhrūd, literally meaning ''The great river'' or ''the river of the king''), also translated as ''Shah River'', is a river of northern Iran.
