The northern section (North 3rd Ring Road–Zhongyuan Road) is an elevated expressway built above Shakou Road while the southern section (Zhongyuan Road–South 3rd Ring Road) is mainly tunneled beneath Jingguang Road. The second phase was finished in 2016. It is in elevated form and extends the expressway to Tianhe Road and G30 Lianhuo Expressway to the north and Zhengzhou Ring Expressway to the south. Huiji District
Huiji District (), formerly Mangshan District (), is one of 6 District (China), urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan, Henan Province, South Central China, South Central China. Zhengzhou Railway Station
Zhengzhou railway station () is a passenger railway station in Erqi District, Zhengzhou, Henan. It is located in the city center, about 1 km southwest to the Erqi Memorial Tower. As the junction of the important Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and Longhai Railway, the station is one of the busiest in China, and is called as "the heart of Chinese railway network". History Opened in 1904, it was a station on the Beijing-Hankou Railway (now part of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway). At the beginning, the station had only one platform and four tracks. In 1908, the Kaifeng-Luoyang Railway (now part of Longhai Railway) was put into operation, making the station an important railway junction. The Zhengzhou Ring Expressway (), designated as G3001, is in Zhengzhou, Henan, People's Republic of China. History The north section, which is in concurrency with G30 Lianyungang–Khorgas Expressway, was finished in 1995 as a section of the Kaifeng-Luoyang Expressway, which is one of the earliest expressways in Henan.
