Jindřichovice (Sokolov District)
Jindřichovice (german: Heinrichsgrün) is a municipality and village in Sokolov District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 500 inhabitants. Administrative parts The village of Háj is an administrative part of Jindřichovice. Geography Jindřichovice is located about north of Sokolov and northwest of Karlovy Vary. It lies in the Ore Mountains. The highest point is the mountain Vysoká jedle at above sea level. The Svatava River briefly flows along the western municipal border. Several brooks flow through the municipality. History The first written mention of Jindřichovice is in a deed of Pope Gregory X from 1273. In the 14th century, tin was mined here. Blatná (; german: Blatna) is a town in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 6,400 inhabitants. It is known for a water castle in the centre of a pond, and a landscape garden around it. The town centre with the castle complex is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone.
