Otto Jindra
Hauptmann Otto Jindra (18 March 1886, Chlum u Třeboně – 2 May 1932) was an Austro-Hungarian flying ace during World War I, credited with nine aerial victories while flying as an aerial observer. His abilities as both leader and administrator led to his accelerated promotion and appointments to command of aviation units despite his lack of pilot's credentials. After World War I and Austria-Hungary both ended, Jindra became a major mover in founding a Czechoslovakian air arm, which he eventually rose to command. Jindra Dolanský
Jindra Dolanský (born 14 December 1964) is a Czech musician. He was the saxophone player, backup vocalist and co-composer for the Czech avant garde punk rock group Už Jsme Doma from 1985–2001. In the early '80s, Dolanský became a fixture in the music scene in Teplice, Czech Republic, a town bordering Germany. He was trained on the clarinet in his youth, making him the only trained member of the original Už Jsme Doma lineup, which he formed with six friends in 1985. By the end of 1988, he was the only original member remaining. From 1985-2001, he played in the band led by Miroslav Wanek, until he decided to leave the exhausting lifestyle to focus on his family and opening a restaurant in Prague. He has since performed with the band on special occasions, most notably their 20th anniversary set, which was released as a live CD and DVD, although only one track featuring Dolanský appears on the former. Jindra Holá (born 2 October 1960) is a Czech former ice dancer who represented Czechoslovakia. Competing with Karol Foltán, she became the 1983 Prague Skate champion, a three-time Winter Universiade medalist (silver in 1983 and 1985, bronze in 1981), and a three-time Czechoslovak national champion. The two also competed at the 1984 Winter Olympics. Career Early in her ice dancing career, Holá competed in partnership with Jiří Pokorný. The duo won the silver medal at the Czechoslovak Championships in the 1977–1978 season. The following season, Holá teamed up with Karol Foltán. After taking the national bronze medal, they placed 14th at the 1979 European Championships in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, and 17th at the 1979 World Championships in Vienna, Austria. Jindra "Jindřiška" Kramperová (born 28 September 1940) is a Czech retired figure skater and pianist. A three-time national champion in ladies' singles, she represented Czechoslovakia at the 1956 Winter Olympics and placed as high as fifth at the European Championships (1958). Personal life Kramperová was born on 28 September 1940 in Prague. Her mother was a teacher and her father a dentist. She is married to a conductor, Vít Micka. Career Figure skating Kramperová's father introduced her to skating when she was six years old.
