Jin Akimoto
Jin Akimoto (born April 7, 1971; ) is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist. He competed in the Bantamweight and Flyweight divisions. He spent the entirety of his career, barring one fight, in Shooto. Between 2000 and 2004 he was ranked as one of the best bantamweights in the world. Personal life Jin Akimoto was born in Sagamihara, in the Kanagawa Prefecture of Japan. He is the youngest of three siblings, with an older brother and sister. He graduated from Kanagawa Prefectural Yaei Higashi High School. He moved to Tokyo, where he graduated from Kyorin University. After retiring from martial arts, he pursued a career in politics, as well as opening his own gym. Kenji Osawa
Kenji Osawa (born November 4, 1976) is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist from Tokyo. He debuted in MMA over a decade ago, and trains and fights out of Wajitsu Keishukai, where he teaches once a week. MMA career Osawa's fight record is 21-11-2 and has competed in many of the top organisations such as Shooto, WEC, DREAM and DEEP. He was scheduled to fight Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Rani Yahya on August 9, 2009 at WEC 42, but due to a foot injury, he was replaced by John Hosman. Osawa lost via unanimous decision to Antonio Banuelos on November 18, 2009 at WEC 44 and was subsequently released from the promotion. Masahiro Oishi (born November 29, 1968) is a Japanese mixed martial artist. He competes in the Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions. He has competed for numerous promotions during his career, most notably Shooto, Pancrase and ZST. He is the former Shooto World Featherweight (132 lb) Champion. Martial arts career Oishi made his debut in 1993, in Shooto, when he faced Yoshiaki Murai, winning a unanimous decision. Korakuen Hall
is a famous sports arena in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, which has hosted many notable boxing, professional wrestling, kickboxing, mixed martial arts and Lethwei matches.
