Jin (manga)
is a Japanese ''seinen'' manga written and illustrated by Motoka Murakami, which was featured on '' Super Jump'' during its original run from 2000 to 2010. It was compiled into 20 ''tankōbon'' by Shueisha and published between April 4, 2001, and February 4, 2011. The manga series has been adapted into three live-action television drama series: two in Japan in 2009 and 2011; and in South Korea in 2012. In 2017, Motoka Murakami self-published his manga series in English on Patreon. Plot Jin Minakata, an ordinary brain surgeon, has an accident after his operation with an unidentified patient, and realizes that he has traveled back in time and reached the end of the Edo period. Through an encounter with various historical characters, Jin sets up a small clinic called Jin'yudo and saves those suffering from disease and injury with his medical skills. Miki Nakatani
is a Japanese actress and singer. She began her career as a member of the girl group Sakurakko Club from 1991 to 1993, wherein she formed the duo Key West Club with member Keiko Azuma. Sakamoto Ryōma
was a Japanese ''samurai'', a '' shishi'' and influential figure of the ''Bakumatsu'' and establishment of the Empire of Japan in the late Edo period. He was a low-ranking ''samurai'' from the Tosa Domain on Shikoku and became an active opponent of the Tokugawa Shogunate after the end of Japan's ''sakoku'' isolationist policy. Ryōma under the alias worked against the Bakufu, the government of the Tokugawa shogunate, and was often hunted by their supporters and the ''Shinsengumi''. Ryōma advocated for democracy, Japanese nationalism, return of power to the Imperial Court, abolition of feudalism, and moderate modernization and industrialization of Japan. Count , best known by his nickname , was a Japanese statesman and naval engineer during the late Tokugawa shogunate and early Meiji period. Kaishū was a nickname which he took from a piece of calligraphy (Kaishū Shooku ) by Sakuma Shōzan. He went through a series of given names throughout his life; his childhood name was . Tetsuya Takeda (), born April 11, 1949, is a Japanese folk singer and actor. Takeda is perhaps most known in Japan for his starring role in the Tokyo Broadcasting System's (TBS) long-running, highly rated television drama '' Sannen B Gumi Kinpachi Sensei'' (Mr. Kinpachi of the Third-Year B Class). The program, targeted at junior high and high school-aged adolescents, ran on TBS with Takeda at various times from 1979 until 2011.
