Jimmy Vienot
Jimmy Vienot (born June 9, 1995) is a French Muay Thai kickboxer who is the reigning SUPERKOMBAT World Middleweight Champion. He is a former Lumpinee Stadium and Arena Fight champion. As of October 20, 2022, he is ranked #5 in the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai rankings. Biography and career Early career Jimmy started Muay Thai at 13 years old in the Star Boxing gym of Montpellier, the city where he grew up since the age of 10. He chose Muay Thai after quitting Judo which lacked intensity to his taste. In 2012 and 2013 Jimmy became European champion in amateur competitions and established himself as one of the most promising French fighter. He should have competed in the IFMA 2014 World Championship but his trip wasn't funded because his gym didn't match the federation requirements. Alim Nabiev (born October 10, 1994) is an Azerbaijani kickboxer, who has been professionally competing since 2010. He is the former WMC World Light Heavyweight champion. He is ranked as the third best welterweight in the world by Combat Press as of September 2022, and the best by Beyond Kick as of October 2022. He was ranked in the welterweight top ten by Combat Press between November 2017 and July 2021, peaking as high as #2. World Muay Thai Council
The World Muaythai Council (WMC) is one of the oldest and the largest professional sanctioning organizations of Muaythai in the world for the sport. The organization was set up in 1995 by parliament resolution, and is incorporated by the Royal Thai Government and sanctioned by the Sports Authority of Thailand, under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. The council has been charged with the responsibility for the expansion of Muaythai worldwide. This involves supporting youth interest and athletes to learn the skills of Muaythai.
