Jimmy Verdon
Jimmy Verdon (born November 4, 1981) is an American football defensive end who was most recently a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was originally drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arizona State. Verdon has also been a member of the Cincinnati Bengals. Early years Verdon attended Pomona High School in Pomona, California and played linebacker, fullback and quarterback. College career Verdon attended Arizona State University. He earned second-team All-Pac-10 honors and was voted the team's Most Valuable Defensive Player in 2004. During his college career, he played in 49 games with 38 starts, making 155 tackles and 10 sacks. He majored in interdisciplinary studies/education and sociology.
