Jimmy Robertson (snooker Player)
Jimmy Robertson (born 3 May 1986) is an English professional snooker player. In October 2018, Robertson won his first ranking title at the 2018 European Masters, defeating Joe Perry 9–6 in the final, despite never previously having gone beyond the quarter-finals of a ranking event. Robertson also holds the record for the most points scored in a frame in professional competition, scoring 178 against Lee Walker at the 2021 Scottish Open. Career 2002–2011 He was on the main tour for 2002–03 where he was the youngest player on the tour. He qualified for the main tour again in 2007–08, by becoming the number One Ranked English Amateur, through winning the EASB (English Governing Body) pro-Ticket Tour Rankings. 2018 Paul Hunter Classic
The 2018 Paul Hunter Classic was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place in August 2018 at the Stadthalle in Fürth, Germany. It was the third ranking event of the 2018/2019 season. The tournament is named in honour of former snooker professional, Paul Hunter. Michael White was the defending champion, however he lost 1–4 to Zhang Anda in the last 32. Kyren Wilson won his second ranking tournament, beating Peter Ebdon 4–2 in the final after Ebdon had taken a two-frame lead. Ebdon reached his 18th ranking final at the age of 47 a day before his birthday. It was his first ranking final since 2012. The World Snooker Championship is the longest-running and most prestigious tournament in professional snooker. It is also the wealthiest, with total prize money in 2022 of £2,395,000, including £500,000 for the winner. The 2012 Players Tour Championship Grand Final (officially the 2012 Betfair Players Tour Championship Grand Final) was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place between 14 and 18 March 2012 at the Bailey Allen Hall in Galway, Republic of Ireland. Shaun Murphy was the defending champion, but he finished 37th on the Order of Merit, and didn't qualify. Stephen Lee won his fifth ranking title by defeating Neil Robertson 4–0 in the final. The Players Tour Championship 2011/2012 – Event 4 (also known as the 2011 Paul Hunter Classic) was a professional minor-ranking snooker tournament that took place between 25 and 28 August 2011 in Fürth, Germany. Some of the preliminary round matches were held in Nürnberg. It was the first PTC event outside of the Grand Finals to be broadcast on television, as one table was screened on Eurosport. Matthew Stevens
Matthew Stevens (born 11 September 1977) is a Welsh professional snooker player. He has won two of the game's Triple Crown events, the Masters in 2000 and the UK Championship in 2003. He has also been a two-time runner-up in the other triple crown event, the World Snooker Championship, in 2000 and 2005. Stevens reached a career high ranking of No. 4 for the 2005/2006 season. Stevens has compiled more than 300 century breaks during his career. Mark Allen (snooker Player)
Mark Allen (born 22 February 1986) is a Northern Irish professional snooker player from Antrim. He won the World Amateur Championship in 2004, turned professional the following year, and took only three seasons to reach the top 16. In his fourth professional season, he beat the defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan en route to the semi-finals of the 2009 World Championship, where he lost to the eventual winner John Higgins. Zhou Yuelong
Zhou Yuelong (; born 24 January 1998) is a Chinese professional snooker player. He has been runner-up at three ranking events, the January 2020 European Masters, the 2020 Snooker Shoot Out, and the 2022 Northern Ireland Open. Career Between 2011 and 2014, Zhou was regularly selected to play in the wildcard round of Chinese ranking events. He could only win two of the nine he played in and was knocked out in the first round in both of those. Rory McLeod (snooker Player)
Rory McLeod (born 26 March 1971) is a British-Jamaican professional snooker player. McLeods highest ranking,is 32 in August 2011. He has reached the last 16 in ten ranking tournaments, and his most notable achievement came in 2015, when he won the Ranking Ruhr Open, beating Tian Pengfei in the final. Having suffered relegation from the main tour at the end of the 2018-2019 season, McLeod spent the 2019-20 season playing on the World Seniors Tour and Challenge Tour; he regained his professional status in August 2020 at Q School. Andrew Norman (snooker Player)
Andrew Norman (born 27 June 1980) is an English former professional snooker player from Bristol. Career Norman turned professional in 2001. He progressed up the ranking list between 2005 and 2007, jumping 30 places. His consistency was epitomised in 2006 as he lost his opening match in just one of the seven ranking events and had his best result in Aberdeen at the Royal London Watches Grand Prix when he reached the last 16 before losing to the eventual winner, Neil Robertson. Norman works as a part-time van driver for his sponsor Hills Delivery during the summer. In 2009, he was ranked 75 in the World Rankings, however, since then he fell out of the top 100.
