Jimmy Edgar
Jimmy Edgar is an American conceptual artist and sound designer from Detroit, Michigan. Influenced by minimalism, Yves Klein and Immaterialism, early in their career Jimmy released two hip-hop glitch albums under the names Michaux and Kristuit Salu and Morris Nightingale. Their first solo album '' Color Strip'' (2006) came out on Warp Records after they signed to the label at age 18. This release was followed by '' XXX'' (2010) on !K7 Records in 2010. After their last solo LP ''Majenta'' (2012), Jimmy has released several EPS on Jimmys own imprint New Reality Now, often designing the album covers with Pilar Zeta. ''XXX'' is a studio album by techno producer Jimmy Edgar. Released in June 2010 by !K7 Records, Allmusic gave it 3.5/5 stars, describing the album as "smutty neo-electro." Production and release Edgar began producing ''XXX'', his second solo album under his real name, around 2008. Edgar used more analog recording techniques than his previous releases, which had been in the genres of Glitch (music), glitch and Detroit techno. Edgar also plays bass guitar on several tracks, and collaborates with several guest vocalists. Originally titled ''Deeper,'' ''XXX'' was allegedly rejected by Warp Records in 2008, with Edgar leaving the label around that time. ''XXX'' came out June 2010 on Studio !K7, K7 Records. Jack Dangers (born John Stephen Corrigan, 11 January 1965) is an English electronic musician, DJ, producer, and remixer best known for his work as the primary member of Meat Beat Manifesto. He lives in San Francisco. Career Prior to founding Meat Beat Manifesto together in 1987, Jack Dangers and Jonny Stephens were members of a short-lived group Perennial Divide. While Stephens remained a member for several years, Jack Dangers is the only person credited as a member of the band on every Meat Beat Manifesto release. Roseville, Michigan
Roseville is a city in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan, and is a part of the Metro Detroit area. The population was 47,299 at the 2010 census. Until 1958, Roseville was a part of Erin Township. History The first permanent post office in the area was established in 1840 by William Rose who named it the Roseville Post Office in honor of his father Dennison Rose, a veteran of the War of 1812.
