Jimmy Dixon (politician)
James William "Jimmy" Dixon (born February 11, 1945) is a Republican Party (United States), Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives. A farmer from Warsaw, North Carolina, Dixon has represented the 4th district (including constituents in Duplin County, North Carolina, Duplin and Wayne County, North Carolina, Wayne counties) since 2011. Early life and education Dixon was born in Friendship, Wake County, North Carolina, Friendship, North Carolina. He graduated from James Kenan High School in Warsaw where he excelled in football. He attended Wake Forest University on a football scholarship and graduated in 1969 with a B.S. degree. The United States census of 2010 was the twenty-third United States national census. National Census Day, the reference day used for the census, was April 1, 2010. The census was taken via mail-in citizen self-reporting, with enumerators serving to spot-check randomly selected neighborhoods and communities.
