Jimmy Cordero
Jimmy Gerard Cordero (born October 19, 1991) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Washington Nationals, Toronto Blue Jays, and Chicago White Sox. Career Toronto Blue Jays Cordero signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent in January 2012. Cordero spent time in the minors with the Blue Jays organization through the 2015 season. Philadelphia Phillies The Blue Jays traded Cordero along with Alberto Tirado to the Philadelphia Phillies for Ben Revere on July 31, 2015. The Phillies added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season. Washington Nationals In December 2016, the Phillies completed a trade with the Washington Nationals, sending Cordero in exchange for minor league pitcher Mario Sanchez. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. Brandon Kintzler
Brandon Lee Kintzler (born August 1, 1984) is an American professional baseball relief pitcher who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, Washington Nationals, Chicago Cubs, Miami Marlins, and Philadelphia Phillies. Kintzler was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and began playing baseball with a traveling youth team. After going undrafted out of Palo Verde High School, he spent one year apiece at Pasadena City College and Dixie State College, leading the latter to a national championship in 2004. The Padres selected Kintzler in the 40th round of the 2004 MLB Draft, and he spent two years in the team's farm system before sustaining a season-ending shoulder injury. The Arkansas Travelers, also known informally as The Travs, are a Minor League Baseball team based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The Travelers are affiliated with the Seattle Mariners as members of the Texas League.
