James Michael Colquitt (born January 17, 1963) is a former American football punter of the National Football League (NFL). A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snap (gridiron football), snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then Punt (gridiron football), punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. This generally happens on a fourth down in American football and a third down in Canadian football. Britton Douglas Colquitt (born March 20, 1985) is an American football punter who is a free agent. He was originally signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in December 2009. He played college football at Tennessee. Dustin Farr Colquitt (born May 6, 1982) is an American football punter who is a free agent. He played college football at Tennessee and was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. With the Chiefs, he won Super Bowl LIV over the San Francisco 49ers. He has also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, and Cleveland Browns. Joseph Craig Colquitt (born June 9, 1954) is a former American football punter who spent eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Pittsburgh Steelers (1978–1981, 1983–1984) and Indianapolis Colts (1987).
