Jimmy Allen (basketball)
James Byars Allen Jr. (born June 15, 1971) is an American college basketball coach. He was the head men's basketball coach at the United States Military Academy (Army) from 2016 to 2023. Allen was the head men's basketball coach at Averett University in Danville, Virginia from 2004 to 2010. Playing career Born in El Paso, Texas, Allen lived in West Point, New York for much of his childhood; his father was a 1967 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy who served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. In eleventh grade, he moved to Roanoke, Virginia, where he graduated from Northside High School in 1989. At Emory and Henry College, Allen was a four-year starter for the Emory and Henry Wasps, playing in 117 games and ranked second all-time in assists with 455, and fourth all-time in steals with 162. New Hampshire Wildcats Men's Basketball
The New Hampshire Wildcats Basketball team is the basketball team that represent the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at Lundholm Gym. Don DeVoe
Donald Eugene DeVoe (born December 31, 1941) is a former American college basketball coach and former player. DeVoe played college basketball for Ohio State University, and later served as the head coach for Virginia Tech, the University of Wyoming, the University of Tennessee, the University of Florida and the United States Naval Academy. Early life and playing career Born in Sabina, Ohio, DeVoe grew up in the small town of Port William, Ohio. He attended Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where he played for coach Fred Taylor's Ohio State Buckeyes from 1962 to 1964. He was a member of the 1962 Buckeyes team that lost to the Cincinnati Bearcats in the final game of the NCAA Tournament, as well as the Buckeyes' Big Ten Conference champion teams of 1963 and 1964. 2019–20 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Season
The 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season began on November 5, 2019. The first tournament was the 2K Sports Classic and the season concluded prematurely on March 12, 2020. The 2020 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was scheduled to end in Atlanta on April 6, 2020, but was ultimately canceled. All other postseason tournaments were canceled as well. Practices officially began in late September. On March 12, 2020, the NCAA announced that all remaining winter and spring championships for both men's and women's sports were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2007 NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament was a single-elimination tournament to determine the men's collegiate basketball national champion of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. It began on March 1, 2007, and concluded on March 17, 2007, with a championship game in the Salem Civic Center of Salem, Virginia, which was won by Amherst College over Virginia Wesleyan 80-67.
