Jimi Pääkallo
Jimi Constantine (born Konstantinos Jorma Hiekkanen, 31 December 1981) is a Finnish musician and actor. He was previously the vocalist and guitarist of the band Technicolour. He has also played with the bands Tyrävyö, Cliché, and Kalle Päätalo. His previous artist name was Jimi Pääkallo. Constantine is also an actor, having appeared in the films ''A Long Hot Summer'' (1999), '' Pearls and Pigs'' (2003), and ''8 Days to Premiere'' (2008), as well as the TV series ''Kallio'' (2010) and ''Salatut elämät'' (Secret Lives) (2000/2011). Jimi was the primary songwriter in the band Technicolour and he has also composed music for Cristal Snow, Robin Packalen, Princess Avenue, and numerous Russian and Latvian artists. He has also produced songs for Pekko Haimin and Aikakone. He has collaborated with artists including Cheek, Uniikki, and Flowboysfamin, and contributed music to numerous film and television soundtracks. Technicolour (rock Band)
Technicolour was a Finnish rock band from Helsinki, founded by Jimi Pääkallo and active from 2001 to 2008. All the lyrics to their songs were sung in English. Jimi and Dingo had been playing in the band Cliché when they decided to start a separate project. Gary, Aki, and Toni joined soon after. The band's first album, ''Way Out'', was released in September 2003. The album achieved moderate success. Their second album, ''Only Shadows Dance'' (2005), outperformed the first one, peaking at 11th place on the album chart that year. The album's singles "All My Life" and "Teach Me Love (I'm in Denial)" also ranked among the top ten on radio playlists. With their third album ''People'', released in October 2006, Technicolour's popularity waned again. ''Strictly Come Dancing'' (informally known as ''Strictly'') is a British dance contest show in which celebrities partner with professional dancers to compete in mainly ballroom and Latin dance. ''Vain elämää'' is the Finnish version of '' The Best Singers'' series broadcast on Finnish Nelonen commercial television channel fashioned on the successful Dutch series ''De beste zangers van Nederland''. Each day, one artist would be chosen, and the remaining artists would perform covers of her or his songs and would be assessed by the original artist. Finland In The Eurovision Song Contest 2011
Finland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Da Da Dam" written by Axel Ehnström. The song was performed by Paradise Oskar, which is the artistic name of singer Axel Ehnström. The Finnish broadcaster Yleisradio (Yle) organised the national final ''Euroviisut 2011'' in order to select the Finnish entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. 15 entries were selected to compete in the national final, which consisted of three semi-finals and a final, taking place in January and February 2011. Ten entries ultimately competed in the final on 12 February where votes from the public selected "Da Da Dam" performed by Paradise Oskar as the winner. Finland was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 10 May 2011. ''Fear Factor'' is an American stunt/ dare game show that first aired on NBC from 2001 to 2006 and was initially hosted by comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan. The show was adapted by Endemol USA from the original Dutch series titled ''Now or Neverland''.
