Jimbo Lull
James "Jimbo" Lull (born August 2, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for Flyers Wels of the Austrian Basketball Superliga. He played college basketball for San Francisco. High school career Lull grew up in Manhattan Beach, California and focused on surfing before turning his attention to basketball. He attended Rolling Hills Preparatory School in San Pedro, California for three years. As a sophomore, Lull averaged 18.8 points and 12.8 rebounds per game, helping the Huskies reach the Southern Section 5A championship game. He averaged 15.4 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game as a junior. Lull transferred to New Hampton School for his senior year and also a postgraduate year. Center (basketball)
The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. Centers are valued for their ability to protect their own goal from high-percentage close attempts on defense, while scoring and rebounding with high efficiency on offense. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Basketball
The Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors basketball team represents the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in NCAA men's competition. (Women's sports teams at the school are known as Rainbow Wahine.) The team currently competes in the Big West Conference after leaving its longtime home of the Western Athletic Conference in July 2012. The team's most recent appearance in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was in 2016, with them getting their first NCAA Tournament victory that same year as well. The 2019–20 San Francisco Dons men's basketball team represented the University of San Francisco during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Dons, led by first-year head coach Todd Golden, played their home games at the War Memorial Gymnasium or the Chase Center as members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 22–12, 9–7 in WCC play to finish in fifth place. They defeated Loyola Marymount in the second round and Pacific in the third round to advance to the semifinals of the WCC tournament where they lost to Gonzaga. 2019–20 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Season
The 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season began on November 5, 2019. The first tournament was the 2K Sports Classic and the season concluded prematurely on March 12, 2020. The 2020 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was scheduled to end in Atlanta on April 6, 2020, but was ultimately canceled. All other postseason tournaments were canceled as well. Practices officially began in late September. On March 12, 2020, the NCAA announced that all remaining winter and spring championships for both men's and women's sports were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Canadian Elite Basketball League
The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) is a men's professional minor league basketball organization. The CEBL was founded in 2017 and began play in 2019 with six teams competing all owned and operated by ownership group Canadian Basketball Ventures. The league currently consists of ten teams from six different provinces, with four being from Ontario, two from Alberta and one each from the provinces of British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Quebec, making the CEBL the largest professional sports league based entirely in Canada. British Basketball League
The British Basketball League (BBL) is a men's professional basketball league in Great Britain and represents the highest level of play in the countries. The league is contested by 10 teams from England and Scotland. There are no clubs however from Wales or Northern Ireland. The BBL runs three additional knockout competitions alongside the BBL Championship which are the BBL Cup, the BBL Trophy and the end-of-season BBL Play-offs. The BBL sits above the National Basketball League and the Scottish Basketball Championship which effectively form the second tier of British basketball. There is currently no automatic promotion or relegation between the English and Scottish leagues and the BBL because of the franchise system in use in the BBL although several clubs have been successful in making the step up from the EBL in recent years.
