Jim Lindsey
James Edgar Lindsey (born November 24, 1944) is a former American football running back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League, having played from 1966 to 1972. Today he is a real estate agent and golf developer. Sports Arkansas Razorbacks Football Lindsey was a member of the 1964 national championship-winning football team at the University of Arkansas, and founded Lindsey & Associates in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1972. James Lindsey is a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at the University of Arkansas - Xi Chapter. He completed a degree in mathematics. War Memorial Stadium (Arkansas)
War Memorial Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas. The stadium is primarily used for American football and is the home stadium for the Catholic High School Rockets, the Parkview Magnet High School Patriots, and the secondary home stadium for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. The USL League Two affiliated Little Rock Rangers hold both home games and youth academies at the stadium. Dave Osborn
Dave Osborn (born March 18, 1943 in Everett, Washington) is a former professional American football player who played running back for 12 seasons for the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers. Career Osborn was drafted by the Vikings in the 13th round of the 1965 NFL Draft with the 176th overall pick. His first contract was worth $9,000. In his rookie year of 1965, Osborn had 20 carries for 106 yards for two touchdowns, while also having one reception for four yards. He returned 18 kickoff returns for 422 yards. The next year, Osborn's carries increased significantly as he carried the ball 87 times for 344 yards and one touchdown, while having 15 receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Fred Cox
Frederick William Cox (December 11, 1938 – November 20, 2019) was an American professional football player who was a kicker for 15 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Minnesota Vikings. After playing college football for Pittsburgh, he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the eighth round of the 1961 NFL Draft and by the New York Titans in the 28th round of the 1961 AFL Draft. He was also the inventor of the Nerf football. Early life Cox was raised in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, outside Pittsburgh. His parents owned and operated a small grocery store, which is still in operation by his brother's family after four generations. Kenneth Wahl Hatfield (born June 6, 1943) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at the United States Air Force Academy (1979–1983), the University of Arkansas (1984–1989), Clemson University (1990–1993), and Rice University (1994–2005), compiling a career college football record of 168–140–4. Playing career Hatfield is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he starred at defensive back for the 1964 Arkansas Razorbacks football team, 1964 team that won a share of the College football national championships in NCAA Division I FBS, national championship. The Arkansas Razorbacks, also known as the Hogs, are the intercollegiate athletics teams representing the University of Arkansas, located in Fayetteville. The University of Arkansas student body voted to change the name of the school mascot (originally the Cardinals) in 1910 to the Arkansas Razorbacks after a hard-fought battle against LSU in which they were said to play like a "wild band of Razorback hogs" by former coach Hugo Bezdek. Frank Broyles
John Franklin Broyles (December 26, 1924 – August 14, 2017) was an American college football player and coach, college athletics administrator, and broadcaster. He served as the head football coach for one season at the University of Missouri in 1957 and at the University of Arkansas from 1958 to 1976, compiling a career coaching record of 149–62–6. Broyles was also the athletic director at Arkansas from 1974 to 2007. His mark of 144–58–5 in 19 seasons at the helm of the Arkansas Razorbacks football gives him the most wins and the most coached games of any head coach in program history. Arkansas Delta
The Arkansas Delta is one of the six natural regions of the state of Arkansas. Willard B. Gatewood Jr., author of ''The Arkansas Delta: Land of Paradox'', says that rich cotton lands of the Arkansas Delta make that area "The Deepest of the Deep South." The region runs along the Mississippi River from Eudora north to Blytheville and as far west as Little Rock.
