Jim Craig (Scottish Footballer)
James Philip Craig (born 30 April 1943 in Glasgow) is a Scottish former footballer, who played as a right back. Most closely associated with Celtic, he was a member of their ''Lisbon Lions'' side which won the 1967 European Cup. Playing career A student at Glasgow's St Gerard's School, Craig was a Celtic supporter as a child, with the first game he attended being the Saint Mungo Cup final in 1951. He was a Scotland schoolboy international, while his first senior side was the University of Glasgow representative team which he played for while studying dentistry at the institution. He joined Celtic in 1963 on amateur terms so as to allow him to complete his studies, and having done so signed as a full professional in January 1965. Craig's abilities and style of play matched manager Jock Stein's tactical philosophy and he soon displaced Willie O'Neill and Ian Young as Celtic's regular right back. Leith
Leith (; gd, Lìte) is a port area in the north of the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, founded at the mouth of the Water of Leith. Channel67
Celtic TV is the official Internet channel of Celtic F.C. It was a television channel until 2009 but was relaunched online, replacing Channel 67. History Launched in 2004, Celtic TV was operated by the Irish company Setanta Sports and was available on satellite and cable platforms in the UK and Ireland until the demise of the Pay TV operator's UK operation on 23 June 2009, resulting in all of the Setanta run channels including, Celtic TV and its Old Firm counterpart, Rangers TV, being closed. (The latter has since reopened.) After Setanta Sports entered administration and ceased all broadcasting on its core channels and the channels were closed, Celtic announced that Celtic TV has ceased broadcasting and the channel would not return until a deal with a new rights holder was struck. Waterford Football Club ( ga, Cumann Peile Phort Láirge) formerly Waterford United Football Club is an Irish association football club based in Waterford who play in the League of Ireland First Division. The club was founded and elected to the league in 1930. Originally the club was based at the greyhound stadium known as Kilcohan Park, but has now moved to the Waterford Regional Sports Centre. Shay Brennan
Seamus Anthony "Shay" Brennan (6 May 1937 – 9 June 2000) was an Irish footballer in the 1960s. He was a full back for Manchester United. His first game for the club came in an FA Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday on 19 February 1958; this was United's first game after the Munich air disaster and Brennan scored twice on an emotionally charged night. He was playing as an outside-left in this game, the position left vacant following the death of David Pegg and the injuries to Albert Scanlon in the crash. He helped United to the 1965 and 1967 Division One championships, as well as the European Cup. Born in Manchester, England, he played internationally for the Republic of Ireland, qualifying through his parentage—the first Irish international to qualify in this way. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps.
