James A. Cox, Jr. (born October 5, 1969) is an American politician. He was a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from the 129th District from 2007 until 2022. Early life and education Cox was born on October 5, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Marquette Manor Baptist Academy in 1987. Cox earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in pre-law from Pensacola Christian College and a Juris Doctor degree from Regent University School of Law in 1992 and 1996, respectively.
