Jim Allenby
James Allenby (born 12 September 1982) is an Australian former professional cricketer who most recently played for Somerset. He played as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. Career Allenby began playing senior cricket for Durham Cricket Board, though he only played one game for the team and it was a further three years before he made another first-class or List A appearance. Having played second XI cricket for Leicestershire Allenby broke into the first team in 2005, he made three appearances in the Twenty20 Cup and played one one-day match at the end of the season. During the season he played club cricket for Brandon Cricket Club in the North East and scored a league record 266 in a 45 over match against Langley Park. In 2006 Allenby was a regular in the Leicestershire side which won the Twenty20 Cup, scoring 64 and taking two wickets in the final against Nottinghamshire. Grace Road, known for sponsorship reasons as the Uptonsteel County Ground, Grace Road, is a cricket ground in Leicester, England. It is the home ground and administrative base of Leicestershire County Cricket Club. History Leicestershire County Cricket Club bought in 1877 the land on which Grace Road now stands from the then Duke of Rutland, and spent the massive sum of £40,000 on developing a cricket club, athletic track and hotel. The first match played there took place three months later, when Leicestershire played a touring Australia team. Gloucestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Gloucestershire. Steven John Croft (born 11 October 1984) is an English first-class cricketer who has played for Lancashire County Cricket Club since 2005. He bats right-handed and can bowl both medium-fast and off breaks. In 2008 Croft was given the Lancashire members' Player of the Year and One-Day Player of the Year awards. Kyle Hogg
Kyle William Hogg (born 2 July 1983) is an English former cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Lancashire from 2001 to 2014. Between 2000–01 and 2002 Hogg represented the England under-19s in six youth Tests and 11 One Day Internationals (ODIs). In the 2006–07 season he travelled to New Zealand where he represented Otago as an overseas player. Hogg spent time on loan with Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire, both in 2007. He was awarded his county caps by Worcestershire and Lancashire in 2007 and 2010 respectively.
